Swiss Steak modify to beef stew 2 pounds bottom round steak, trimmed and sliced into large squares 1 teaspoon sea salt 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 tablespoons corn starch or flour 1 medium white or yellow onion, peeled and diced 1 cup low sodium beef broth 2 potatoes diced 4 carrots 1 package of dry marinade mix 1 Prepare the marinade mix per instructions 2 Cube the meat and let is rest in the marinade while preparing other ingrediene, stirring frequently 3 Saute the diced onions in the pot, cook until slightly soft, stirring frequently 4 Hit CANCEL on the saute, then add the round steak and other items (except corn startch) in the instant pot and season the salt & pepper 5 Place lid on pot, turn valve to Sealing position, and hit PRESSURE COOK for 30 minutes. After 30 minute cook time, allow a 10 minute natural release, then hit CANCEL and turn valve to Venting position to release remaining pressure 6 Stir in the corn starch or flour to thicken, turn on the saute function to heat stiring often until thick 7 Can be eaten as is or poured over rice or noodles
